The EZ-8046 Self-Aligning Unit from Eitzenberger is a compact spherical air bearing designed to provide frictionless self-alignment during mounting, bonding, and pressing operations. By automatically compensating for slight angular misalignment, it helps improve alignment accuracy, process repeatability, and overall production quality.
Using spherical air bearing technology, the unit automatically adjusts its angle during the alignment process. Once precise alignment is achieved, the air supply is switched off and an integrated magnetic preload securely locks the position, ensuring stable and repeatable results throughout the process.
