PHOTON RT  0420 Ultra Spectrophotometer Named Gold Honoree by Laser Focus World 2024 Innovators Award

EssentOptics Europe UAB, a leading manufacturer of high-performance spectrophotometers for optics, is proud to be a Gold Winner of the Laser Focus World Innovators Award 2024 in the Test and Measurement category for its PHOTON RT 0420 Ultra spectrophotometer. The selection process was carried out by a panel of judges who evaluated the level of innovation and its perceived benefit to the industry’s advancement.

The new PHOTON RT 0420 Ultra spectrophotometer addresses the longstanding challenge of characterizing cutting-edge multilayer optical coatings, including ultra-narrow bandpass filters (nano band filters), cut-off filters with steep slopes, and coatings with high optical density. The new instrument from EssentOptics enables measurements of optical densities down to OD8, slope steepness as low as 0.02%, and filter bandwidths as narrow as 0.1 nm.

Designed to meet the rigorous demands of ultra coatings, the PHOTON RT 0420 Ultra offers a wavelength range from 340 nm to 2000 nm and is tailored for a wide range of advanced applications, including LIDARs, fluorescence microscopy, laser safety, telecom, space exploration, defence, and security.
